General Changes

  • Magic Attack (MATK) has had its min/max MATK range removed, and now uses the average of the two instead to allow for more consistent damage
  • Magic Penetration has been capped at 50% MDEF penetration
  • Reflected magic ignores the caster's resistance
  • Reflected damage no longer triggers HP/SP draining effects, skill autocasts, or autobonuses
  • Critical Wound also reduces the effectiveness of HP draining effects and natural HP regeneration
  • Coma is disabled in PvP-enabled maps
  • Healing item effects have been disabled in PvP-enabled maps (item will still be consumed and other, non-healing effects will work)
  • LUK's Perfect Dodge bonus has been reduced from Luk/10 -> Luk/50
  • Refine bonuses have been changed
  • Castle Defense levels increase their Emperium's HP by 100,000 per level
  • Wedding/Family skills cannot be used in PvP-enabled maps
  • Party buffs will by applied to the team instead of party when used in Battlegrounds

Classes

Assassin Cross

HP mod reduced from 110 -> 85
Hide and Cloaking

  • Have a 500ms cool-down after the status ends
  • Movement speed changed from (70 + (3*SkillLv)) -> (50 + (5*SkillLv))
  • Movement speed against walls changed from ((3*SkillLv) - 3) -> (75 + (5 * SkillLv))

Sonic Blow

  • Limited to 4 casts per chain
  • Applies a 5% Critical Wound effect (reduced healing) per cast, stacking up to 25%, for 5 seconds
  • Increases damage from other sources (not the caster) against the target by 5% per cast, stacking up to 25%, for 5 seconds

Backsliding

  • Has a 250ms cool-down on general maps
  • Has a 800ms cool-down on PvP maps

Enchant Deadly Poison

  • Effect cancelled when casting Berserk

Champion

Monk Spirit

  • Restores the Monk's Heal amount back to 100%

Heal

  • Now has a 300ms cooldown (only affects flinch / animation cancel healing)
  • Heal amount is reduced by 20% when used by Monks

Asura Strike

  • SP-based damage scaling reduced by 50%
  • No longer pierces target's DEF
  • Deals 50% damage to boss type monsters

Pneuma

  • Skills with knockback now pierce Pneuma
  • Limited to 3 instances at a time

Body Relocation

  • Range reduced from 18 -> 12 cells
  • Has a 250ms cool-down on general maps
  • Has a 800ms cool-down on PvP maps

Clown/Gypsy

General

  • Song and dance effects will now end when the target is no longer in the AoE
    • Apple of Idun is exempt from this rule
  • All song/dance effects listed below now use the caster's BASE stats, NOT total stats, and effects will be reduced by 20% if their respective skill (Musical Lesson/Dance Lesson) has not been learned
  • All song/dance effects have a 1 second cool-down (self-only; other skills can still be used)
  • All song/dance effects now only target allies if it's a buff, and only target enemies if it's a debuff
    • Loki's Veil is an exception, and will still work on everyone within the AoE
  • Songs and dances no longer reduce the caster's movement speed
  • Songs and dances no longer cause the Dissonance / Ugly Dance effect when overlapping, but only one song/dance will take effect on overlapped cells
  • Songs and dances are no longer considered overlapped when they belong to enemy characters

Bard and Dancer Spirits

  • Now gives the target +10 movement speed while singing/dancing (stacks with other sources)

Arrow Vulcan

  • Damage increased from 1200% -> 1250%
  • Limited to 4 casts per chain

Tarot Card of Fate

  • Can now be used while performing a song/dance
  • No longer dispels Preserve or Chemical Protection
  • The Magician: MATK reduction reduced from -50% -> -20% MATK
  • Strength: ATK reduction reduced from -50% -> -20% ATK
  • The Devil: ATK/MATK reduction reduced from -50% -> -15% ATK/MATK
  • The Tower: Damage increased from 4,444 -> 44,444
  • The Hanged Man: Stop status reduced from 30s -> 5s
  • The Sun: ATK/MATK/Hit/Flee/DEF reduction reduced from -20% -> -15%
  • The Star: Rather than casting Stun, now slows the target by 10% for 10 seconds

Scream

  • Now has a (15 + (SkillLv*5))% chance to inflict the Stone Curse status instead of Stun
  • No longer has a chance to affect allied party members

Frost Joker

  • No longer has a chance to affect allied party members

Marionette Control

  • Now channels 10% of the Clown/Gypsy's stats (except VIT) to the target
  • Casting and leash range increased from 7 -> 11 cells
  • No longer blocks skill usage from the caster
  • Max HP cost increased from 1,000 -> 100,000
  • Song/dance effects are not reduced while Marionette Control is active. This is due to the caster's stat reduction being applied as negative bonus stats

Adaption to Circumstances

  • No longer triggers a delay when starting a song/dance

Ensemble skills

  • Can be initiated without a partner

Dissonance/Ugly Dance

  • Deals a total of 20,000 damage per second to surrounding enemies, divided up amongst the number of people inside the AoE
  • Now uses the weapon's element rather than being forced Neutral
  • Dissonance only: Reduces ATK/MATK of all enemies in the AoE by 1% per player in the AoE (capped at 20%)
    • Allies within the AoE are counted toward this bonus, but are not affected negatively
  • Ugly Dance only: Drains SP of all enemies in the AoE by 0.5% max SP each second (capped at 10%)
    • Allies within the AoE are counted toward this bonus, but are not affected negatively

Loki's Veil

  • Chance to block skill usage has been reduced from 100% -> (Agi/12.5)%
  • 3x as effective if the offending skill is ground-based (100% nullification of ground skills at 425 AGI)

Invulnerable Siegfried

  • Elemental resistance reduced from 80% -> 20%

A Poem of Bragi

  • Casting time is reduced by (Dex/10)%
  • After-cast delay is reduced by (Int/10)%

A Whistle

  • Adds a (AGI/25)% chance to dodge ranged physical attacks, and a (INT/25)% chance to dodge magic attacks for anyone in the AoE
  • No effect for targets inside Wall of Fog

Assassin Cross of Sunset

  • Adds a (AGI/25)% chance of dodging all melee damage for anyone in the effect area
  • No effect for targets inside Wall of Fog

Drum on the Battlefield

  • Can only be learned by Bards (linked to Lullaby for Bard Spirit)
  • No longer acts as an ensemble skill (7x7 AoE, movement allowed while singing, and no longer cancelled by Land Protector)
  • Increases target's Atk by (Dex/30)%
  • Increases target's MAtk by (Int/30)%

The Apple of Idun

  • Heals (Int*25) HP/second

Fortune's Kiss

  • Increases incoming melee damage to enemies in the AoE by (DEX/20)%

Humming

  • Increases incoming ranged physical and magic damage to everyone in the AoE by (DEX/20)% and (INT/20)% respectively

Lullaby

  • Can only be learned by Dancers (linked to Drum on the Battlefield for Dancer Spirit)
  • No longer acts as an ensemble skill (7x7 AoE, movement allowed while dancing, and no longer cancelled by Land Protector)
  • Reduces the movement speed of all enemy players inside the effect area by (10 + (Int/15))

Please Don't Forget Me

  • Base movement speed reduction reduced from (5 + (3*SkillLv) + (Agi/10)) -> (5 + SkillLv + (Agi/11))

Service for You

  • No longer increases max SP
  • Reduces SP costs by (Dex/15)%
  • Recovers (Int/2) SP/second for all players inside the effect area

Into the Abyss

  • Now requires Whistle for Bards instead of Lullaby

The Ring of Nibelungen

  • Now requires Service For You for Dancers instead of Drum on the Battlefield

Creator

Acid Demonstration

  • Has a 200ms cool-down
  • Is now reduced by MDEF
  • Damage formula's Vit factor reduced from 0.7 -> 0.6

Emergency Avoid

  • Movement speed bonus reduced from +50 -> +40
  • Duration reduced from 20s -> 10s

Resurrect Homunculus

  • Has a 15s delay when the Homunculus dies in a PvP-enabled map

Alchemist Spirit

  • Effect has been reduced to (base level/5)%

Slim Potion Pitcher

  • Has a 250ms cool-down

Crazy Uproar

  • STR bonus increased from +4 -> +10

Gunslinger

Flip the Coin

  • Will no longer remove a coin when flipping tails

Desperado

  • Equip swapping delay has been reduced from 1000ms -> 500ms

Adjustment

  • Buff duration increased from 30s -> 60s

High Priest

Priest Spirit

  • Increases Sanctuary healing by 10% on non-enemy targets, excluding the caster

Sanctuary

  • Base heal increased from 777 -> 7777

B.S. Sacramenti

  • Armour enchant can now be cancelled when the recipient swaps their armour

Kyrie Eleison

  • Can no longer be cast on enemies
  • Has a 2 second per target delay

Blessing, Increase Agi and Impositio Manus

  • Are now 3x3 cell AoE buffs

Aspersio

  • Has a 1 second cool-down
  • Can be nullified by GTB Card

Heal

  • Now has a 300ms cooldown (only affects flinch / animation cancel healing)
  • Now recovers allies' SP by 1% of the Heal amount
    • This effect only works on allies

Pneuma

  • Skills with knockback now pierce Pneuma
  • Limited to 3 instances at a time (Basilica can be used to clear and replace them)

Basilica

  • No longer has a protection effect in PvP
  • Can be used in all PvP and GvG-enabled maps to clear the High Priest's active ground effects (Safety Wall, Sanctuary, etc)

Holy Light

  • Base damage is increased by 375% when used by a Priest (linked damage is unchanged at 625%)

Mana Recharge

  • SP cost reduction increased from 20% -> 40%

High Wizard

HP mod increased from 55 -> 70
Fire Pillar

  • Stop duration reduced from 2400ms -> 500ms

Ganbantein

  • During BG/WoE: AoE size increased to 5x5 cells

Storm Gust

  • Base Freeze chance reduced from 150% -> 125%
  • Hit counter is no longer shared between casts; the chance to Freeze an enemy now requires 3 hits from the same instance of Storm Gust

Lord Knight

HP mod reduced from 150 -> 90
Knight Spirit

  • Reduces the duration of Decrease Agi by 50%

Peco Peco Riding

  • Reduces ATK by 5% when mounted
  • Movement Speed reduced from 25 -> 20
  • When holding an objective, Movement Speed falls from 20 -> 15

Berserk has received the following changes:

  • HP drain changed from 5% current HP per 15s -> 1% max HP per 1s
  • Bonus HP reduced from 200% -> 100%
  • Now preserves your current % HP when being Dispelled
  • Magic cannot be reflected while in the Berserk status
  • Movement speed will be reduced while in the Berserk status on PvP-enabled maps
  • 150s cooldown in PvP-enabled maps, starting from when the status ends

Bowling Bash

  • Splash damage dealt reduced to 28% of initial damage

Magnum Break

  • Initial hit now uses the caster's weapon element instead of being locked to Fire (20% after-cast damage bonus is still Fire)

Spiral Pierce

  • Stop duration reduced from 1000ms -> 50ms
  • Stop effect is nullified by knockback immunity

Joint Beat

  • All de-buff effects reduced to 10% effectiveness
  • Neck Break status removed since this would imply instant death

Charge Attack

  • Range reduced from 14 -> 9 cells
    • Since Charge Attack's damage scales with distance, this also means that max damage reduced from 500% (14 cell max range) -> 300% (9 cell max range)
  • Now has a 200ms cool-down

Ninja

Shadow Jump

  • Has a 500ms cool-down after being detected
  • Range reduced from 15 -> 12 cells
  • Has a 250ms cool-down on general maps
  • Has a 800ms cool-down on PvP maps

Shadow Slash

  • Range reduced from 15 -> 12 cells

Cast-off Ciceda Shell and Reverse Tatami

  • Using one of these skills will now trigger a 500ms cool-down on the other

Paladin

HP mod reduced from 110 -> 95
Crusader Link

  • Recovers 1% of max HP every 5s when out of combat (no damage dealt/taken in 10s)

Peco Peco Riding

  • Reduces ATK by 5% when mounted
  • Movement Speed reduced from 25 -> 20
  • When holding an objective, Movement Speed falls from 20 -> 15

Gospel

  • No longer dispels the caster's Full Chemical Protection

Magnum Break

  • Now carries the element of the user's weapon as opposed to being forced Fire element

Defender

  • Physical Long-Ranged reduction reduced from 80% -> 50%

Pressure

  • No longer triggers autocasts

Auto Guard

  • Chance to block attacks reduced from 30% -> 25%

Heal

  • Now has a 300ms cooldown (only affects flinch / animation cancel healing)

Professor

Sage Spirit

  • Now reduces reflected magic damage by 5%

Double Casting

  • 2nd Bolt chance reduced from 80% -> 50%

Land Protector

  • Can now have its level selected

Mind Breaker

  • MATK bonus reduced from +100% -> +50%
  • Now causes those under the influence of the skill to take 5% of the damage as self-inflicted damage when casting magic

Magic Rod

  • No longer nullifies reflected Bolts, but reduces their damage by 50% instead

Spider Web

  • Duration on PvP maps reduced from 4/8/12s -> 1.5/2/2.5s (single/double/triple Web)
  • Casting range reduced from 7 -> 5 cells
  • Now has a 750ms cool-down (does not affect the use of other skills)

Wall of Fog

  • Dodge chance reduced from 75% -> (5+(BaseLUK/6))% up to a cap of 75%
  • No longer reduces melee or magic damage
  • Damage reduction from physical auto-attacks has been reduced from 75% -> 25% (the usual 25% reduction to all ranged damage and evasion chance remains the same)

Soul Linker

General

  • Soul Linkers now have the +25% Transcendent HP boost

All Soul Links

  • Duration increased from 6 -> 10 minutes

Running

  • Can now be used in Battlegrounds

High Jump

  • Can now be used on PvP maps, but has a 1000ms cool-down

Ka- Buffs

  • Can now be used on a single ally while unlinked (casting on a new target will clear the buffs from the original target)

Kaizel

  • Can no longer be cast on enemies
  • When not Linked, Kaizel has a 30s delay after the target is revived before the Soul Linker can cast it on a new target
  • Has a 120 second cool-down per character that begins from the time of resurrection (this cool-down is reset upon normal death)

Rebirth Spirit

  • Can now be used to universally Link any applicable classes (rebirth/extended)

Sniper

Hunter Spirit

  • Enables use of True Sight and Attention Concentrate within Quagmire while active

Double Strafing

  • Damage increased from 380% -> 450%
  • Now pierces 10% of the enemy's Long-Ranged resistance; this is a flat percentage

Beast Bane

  • Grants 25% damage against boss type monsters
  • Grants 15% Def ignore against boss type monsters

Detecting

  • Continues to detect hidden targets in the AoE for 1200ms after casting
  • Range increased from 9 -> 14 cells
  • Radius increased from 7x7 -> 11x11 cells (to match the skill's animation)

Wind Walk

  • Movement speed bonus increased from +20 -> +30

True Sight

  • Duration increased from 30 -> 60 seconds

Charge Arrow

  • Damage increased from 150% -> 200%
  • Reduces movement speed by 15% if the enemy has anti-knockback

Ankle Trap

  • Stop position is no longer affected by knockback immunity

Skid Trap

  • Stop duration has been reduced from a flat 3000ms -> (1000 + 200*skill level) ms

Stalker

Hide

  • Has a 500ms cool-down after the status ends

Chase Walk

  • Has a 500ms cool-down after the status ends
  • Now grants 16 STR, DEX or INT depending on the Stalker's most dominant stat after 10s of use
    • This effect has been streamlined to be reapplied every 10 seconds in Chase Walk

Raid

  • Can now be used outside of Hiding status
  • AoE increased from 3x3 -> 5x5 cells

Back Stab

  • Can be used from the front of the enemy, but at a 50% damage penalty
  • Damage penalty when using a bow has been removed
  • No longer changes the enemy's direction
  • Now uses the Stalker's weapon range instead of being forced melee
  • Now has a 15% chance of inflicting a Critical Wound on enemies for 5 seconds which reduces healing by 50%
    • When used with a bow: Chance to inflict falls to 7.5%
    • Overall effect reduced to 30% when using a bow
  • Now has a 15% chance of inflicting a Deep Wound on enemies for 5 seconds which reduces the enemy's current HP by 1% per second
    • When used with a bow: Chance to inflict falls to 7.5%

Rogue Link

  • Bonus movement speed in Chase Walk reduced from +40 -> +20

Preserve

  • Can no longer be Dispelled
  • Duration increased to 1 hour
  • Effect now persists through death and re-logging
  • Can be toggled on/off

Reject Sword

  • Number of hits rejected increased from 3 -> 5

Divest/Strip Rework

  • All singular Divest skills have been revamped to cause various status effects based on the equipment effected. All of these new statuses have a 20 second duration, and are NOT nullified by Full Chemical Protection. Success of infliction is displayed using the old "stripped equipment" effects. Up to two of these effects can be active at a time; if a third effect is applied, it will replace the oldest one.
  • Strip Helm
    • Now causes a status effect that reduces a target's HP/SP regeneration and HP/SP leeching effects by 20%
  • Strip Armour
    • Now causes a status effect that reduces a target's DEF/MDEF by 10%
  • Strip Shield
    • Now causes a status effect that increases damage dealt to the target by 10% (from all sources) and by 25% (by the Stalker)
  • Strip Weapon
    • Now causes a status effect that reduces a target's ATK/MATK by 10%

Star Gladiator

High Jump

  • Can now be used on PvP maps, but with 1000ms cool-down

Hatred

  • Level 3 damage has been reduced by 50%

Flying Side Kick

  • Now automatically positions the user 1 cell behind the target rather than on the same cell

Running

  • Can now be used in Battlegrounds

Whitesmith

Maximize Power

  • Now causes the Whitesmith's attacks to ignore Demi-Human targets Def while active
  • Can no longer be Dispelled

Full Adrenaline Rush

  • Now increases Cart Termination's damage by 10%

Weapon Refine

  • Can now be used while sitting down

Cart Boost

  • No longer nullified by Quagmire or Decrease AGI
  • Casting this skill will now break Spider Web
  • Now grants an additional +10 additive movement speed bonus for the first 7 seconds after use

Cart Termination

  • Formula changed to no longer depend on cart weight at all, but rather a standard ATK formula of 1450% ATK, up from the standard 1333% ATK with a previously full cart
    • Still NOT affected by % based Cards such as Hydra Card or Turtle General Card
  • Can be used without Cart Boost, but at 50% damage
  • Now reduces an enemy's DEF/MDEF by 3%; this effect stacks up to 5 times for a total of -15% DEF/MDEF (500ms duration for the first 4 stacks and 2500ms duration for all 5 stacks)

Weapon Perfection

  • Now provides +20 DEX which also extends to party members

Crazy Uproar

  • STR bonus increased from +4 -> +10
  • STR bonus transfers to party members (Blacksmith only)

Throw Tomahawk

  • Throw Tomahawk is now innately in the Whitesmith's skill tree for use, but requires a Tomahawk to at least be present somewhere in their inventory
  • Base damage increased from 100% -> 300% ATK
  • No longer affected by % damage Cards
  • Has a 10% chance of slowing the target by 15% for 10 seconds when used by a Whitesmith
    • When slowed, enemies will also have movement skills (Back Slide, Snap, Shadow Jump and High Jump) impaired for 5 seconds

Hammer Fall

  • Now has a 20% chance of slowing all enemies in the AoE by 20% for 10 seconds
  • Effect delay reduced from 1000ms -> 500ms
  • Skill range increased by 1 cell

Items

Cards

  • Alligator Card's long range resistance reduced from 5% -> 2%
  • Amon Ra Card's chance to autocast Kyrie Eleison has been reduced from 3-10% -> 1%
  • Dark Priest Card's effects are only 33% as effective when used with AoE skills
  • Errende Ebecee Card's chance to autocast Pneuma has been reduced from 5% -> 1.5%
  • Fallen Bishop Hibram Card's magic damage bonus has been reduced from 50% -> 10%
  • Frus Card's reflection chance has been reduced from (RefineLvl * 2)% -> (RefineLvl)%
  • Gemini-S58 Card's Stone Curse resistance has been increased from 50% -> 100%
  • Golden Thief Bug Card's magic resistance reduced from 100% -> 33%
    • Increased SP consumption effect removed
    • Grants 5% Demi-Human resistance
  • High Priest Card's Assumptio level has been increased from 1 -> 3
  • High Wizard Card's MDef penetration has been reduced from 100% -> 15%
    • SP depletion upon headgear removal effect removed
    • Increased casting time effect removed
  • Horn Card's long range resistance reduced from 35% -> 20%
  • Imp Card's increased Fire Bolt damage reduced from 25% -> 10%
  • Incantation Samurai Card's HP drain effect has been removed
  • Maya Card's reflection chance has been reduced from 50% -> 20%
  • Mistress Card affects Ninja stone requirements as well, and no longer increases SP consumption
  • Pharaoh Card's SP consumption reduction increased from 30% -> 40%
  • Salamander Card's bonus damage with Meteor Storm has been reduced from 40% -> 25% (Fire Pillar portion unchanged)
  • Siroma Card's increased Cold Bolt damage reduced from 25% -> 10%
  • Tao Gunka Card has had it's Def/MDef reduction reduced from -50 -> -5
  • Thanatos Card and Ice Pick now cause the wearer to deal (Armor Def + (Vit3 / 850000))% damage
  • Thanatos Card now gives -3 Def/MDef instead of -30 Def
  • Thara Frog Card's Demi-Human resistance has been reduced from 30% -> 25%
  • White Lady Card's increased SP consumption has been removed

Equips

  • Bows and guns provide 40% race-based resistance to all sources
  • Brisingamen gives +10 MDef, +10 all stats
  • Combat Knife's Demi-Human resistance has been reduced from 10% -> 5%, and no longer ignores the Defense of Demi-Human targets
  • Elemental Sword will no longer double cast bolts when dual wielding
  • Ifrit Ring combo will no longer autocast Asura Strike
  • Mjolnir gives +40 Dex, +20 Int/Str, Increased Attack Speed, and allows use of level 5 Thunderstorm and Level 1 Sight
  • Nidhoggur's Shadow Garb no longer grants Neutral resistance
  • Platinum Shield has had its Medium and Large resistance removed
  • Sleipnir gives +10 MDef, +25% Max HP/SP, +15% SP Recovery Rate, +10 Movement Speed (additive)
  • Staff of Piercing's magic penetration has been reduced from 20% -> 15% (specifically 5+RefineLv)

Usable Item

  • Speed Potion's movement speed boost has been reduced from +50 -> +35
  • Speed Potion's status effect has been changed from SC_SPEEDUP1 to SC_SPEEDUP0, which is dispellable and can be slowed by skills like Decrease Agi and Please Don't Forget Me
  • Speed Potion and Authoritative Badge are now cancelled out by Quagmire
